Long Range Sequencing for ultra-high Resolution HLA Genotyping
For patients and related samples, we are applying a workflow providing ultra-high-resolution HLA genotyping. Here, we analyze not only exons 2 and 3 of the HLA genes but the whole gene (HLA class I) or at least exons 2 to 5 (HLA class II).
After long-range PCR, the amplicons are fragmented and sequenced using an Illumina MiSeq instrument. The analysis is performed with NGSengine (GenDx) and a high-resolution report is created. Besides the workflow based on CE-IVD labeled reagents (GenDx) for clinical samples, we offer a more cost-efficient in-house solution for scientific projects.
